I’m 27 28 and used to live in the beautiful, yuppified, culturally diverse, weather-blessed Bay Area. I recently packed it up and headed south – to Southeast Asia. These days I’m calling Singapore home (or trying to anyway).

I went to school in LA but am originally from the cow fields of California’s Central Valley. I have 3 younger brothers which means I have bossy tendencies. I love eating, sleeping, traveling, watching Korean soap operas or cheesy Filipino movies, listening to corny pop music or OPM, dancing, buying shoes, arts and crafts, Diet Coke, and sitting in my big, comfy, awesome arm chair (which I miss terribly). I used to hate (but now love) tofu and Thai food. I still hate maple syrup (and, as Jeff mentioned, lychees – you can also add papayas, guavas, longan, and chico to that list). My newest love are Kyoho grapes but I’d also arm wrestle you for atis, mangosteen, or green mangos and bagoong.

  2. Yep, I’d arm wrestle you for mangosteen as well. Or wait, lets just go together and get large amounts of them and eat them together, shall we? Singapore has enough for the two of us. I think.
