Yup, still not done with the Europe posts.

Our last dinner in Roma came at the end of a pretty long day of sightseeing. Instead of having a sit down dinner, we decided to grab a meal to-go from one of the restaurants near our hotel. I ordered the carbonara which had big ol’ chunks of fatty bacon and was just ‘ok’ overall. Nice al dente pasta and well cooked eggs but really dry and boring tasting.

Lizzie’s gnocchi was way good. Soft, fresh gnocchi in a bold ragu. Jane and I ended up abandoning our own meals and scarfing down Lizzie’s.

So when we got back to the hotel with our order in tow we realized they had forgotten my carbonara. Not good. Lizzie and I walked back to ask them for it and they were super apologetic. To make up for it, they sent us home with this:

Now if I could only find the name of the restaurant…
