I put this together to treat my visiting cousin to something that would remind her of home. In the Philippines you can get these from street vendors for just a few pesos. 🙂

Firm, slightly sweet, mouth puckeringly sour, unripe mango paired with salty, neon purple dollops of fermented shrimp paste. Sounds weird, tastes good.
