Pinkberry is taking their sweet time getting to the Bay Area. Bad business move if you ask me. Fraiche is one of many fro-yo places popping up to meet the Pinkberry demand. Lizzie and I stopped by after getting our nails done. I ordered the soy frozen yogurt with olallieberry and graham crackers. Verdict: I’m a fan. It has a distinct soy milk flavor (yum) with a nice creaminess and not overly sweet at all.

She was a little stingy with the olallieberry but gave me lots of graham cracker pieces. If you’re wondering, Wikipedia says that olallieberry is a mix between loganberry and youngberry. It tastes most like blueberries (if you’re looking for a more common berry to compare it to). Sweet olallieberry + crunchy graham pieces + soy milk flavored frozen yogurt = YAY. 5*****

The junior size is plenty for most people, with 2 toppings it will set you back $5.

Now I’m off to dust off the handy passport and finish packin’. Plans for Thailand and Cambodia fell through but were quickly replaced with visions of Hong Kong instead. Expect lots of posts on dim sum, seafood, and sweets in the next few weeks. Until then stay safe and eat well!
