introducing toast tuesdays

Ever since my Hong Kong adventures I’ve been hankering for some thick, tasty, buttery toast. Not surprisingly, I found the following ingredients gathered on my kitchen counter one chilly evening.

For ultimate sweet tastiness, spread butter on both sides of thickly cut bread. Toast in the toaster or throw into a pan a la grilled cheese. After successful toasting, spread with peanut butter and drizzle a little (or a lot) of condensed milk. Five minutes later you’ll get something that looks like this:

I got a little excited with the milk and had to take a bit off when it got too sweet. Whoops.

For additional satisfaction, bring a squeeze bottle of condensed milk (yes, they sell them) to work and initiate ‘Toast Tuesdays’. Take turns with your buddies buying loaves of yummy thick bread. Hope that your workplace has a toaster.
